Petz Gameplay Day 4

Ugh, I didn't mean to go this long between updates. It's been an insane few days though. Anyway... getting back in the swing of things.
Day Four:
-Do you ever think your pet might WANT a pet? Like a goldfish, hamster, or even a whole Flea Circus of their own? Why not find something your pet can look after, and see what they think?
-Is the pet working out? Maybe we need a backup, just in case they're too much...let's head to the Back Yard again with some seeds and get a garden together! Be careful of the watering can, not all Petz like it! Can you plant flowers in any neat designs? Let your pet make their own design in the yard with seeds as well! Whose is better?
-I'm sure that took a long time! Why don't you grab a snack, and head to the Clothes Closet, or Salon, and try out a new look? Can you find a bunch of clothing items in the same color? What's the wildest combo you can think of?
-I've heard some people say they can rock Petz to sleep in a basket! Your pet must be good and tired already...can you get them to fall asleep in a basket?

I'm totally up for trying the flea circus!

Lizard clearly thinks that she's better than fleas.
I sat there for a few minutes as Lizard generally ignored the flea circus, wondering if this thing even... DID anything. It just sat there! Well, at least I know that the goldfish actually moves. Let's see how Lizard likes that.

She noticed it alright, and decided it was her mission to stop it! This might not have been the best idea, bringing a goldfish out with a cat...

I looked back down at the flea circus that I'd left out, and OMG IT DID SOMETHING! I know it's hard to see in the picture, but the fleas got out and started going up and down on the seesaw.

Lizard didn't care, though; she just wanted to attack that fish again. This could be disastrous for that poor fish, so I quickly moved on to the next task.

...a backup? We're going to plant a backup pet in the backyard? I don't understand the beginning of this one lol. So I'll just head to the garden and start planting.

The bunny immediately came out and, when it wasn't distracted by Lizard, ran around in a panic and ruined my planting. ARGH. I friggin' hate planting in the Petz garden, lol...

While waiting for my (now out-of-order) plants to sprout, I kept the two occupied in the other corner by snapping pictures. The bunny is actually a decent show poser, surprisingly. Also, I finally got Lizard to actually act like an alley cat for the camera! Only took day four for her personality to come out, lol

I sprinkled some seeds down by Lizard to get her to spread themthis is sounding dirtier and dirtier by the second, but she instead just sat there and stuck her nose in the air like a snob. Go fig. The one time I WANT them to scatter the seeds themselves, and they don't.

While snapping pics, I somehow got the garden (that is still growing, man this takes forever!) in the background. So... yay. Lizard obviously still doesn't care.

Took off an ear of corn to see if either Lizard or the rabbit would eat it. Lizard examined it cautiously from behind the carrying case...

...but then she started stalking it. Sigh. You know you're failing as a cat when you stalk your NOT MOVING FOOD.

BUTTERFLY!

I was getting insanely bored waiting for all of these flowers to bloom. Seriously, why does this take so long? Anyway, they've all at least sprouted here. Here's my awesome (not) garden. Look and be amazed. I think Lizard's section actually looks better... but like she actually did anything there. :/

And we leave the garden with yet another adult pet grooming Lizard. Seriously, I should have just named her Jailbait. O.O

Yeah, it did take a long time lol

Before our game of dress-up, I gave Lizard a bowl of fish, which she definitely appreciated, as you can see!

Once finishing her meal and returning to the salon, Lizard immediately grabbed a hold of her favorite item in the universe.

There's definitely a lot of red clothing items, and Lizard was happy to show them off! Pink's just a lighter red, so this may be a cop-out, but as you can see, there's plenty of pink to go around too. Lizard totally rocks that mohawk.

This, on the other hand, was the wildest look I could come up with. It hurts my eyes. (Confession time--when I used to get upset at my Petz, I'd take out my anger at them by dressing them up in ridiculous get-ups or painting them stupid colors, rather than use the squirt can. Lol, my twelve-year-old brain was weird.)

I had a weird quirk happen after trying on the clothes. A blotch of white was stuck to Lizard's back right leg and wouldn't come off. It obviously isn't a clothing item, and didn't disappear even after hitting "restore original colors". After I'd finished the tasks for the day I closed Petz 5 and opened it again, and the spot was gone then, so... (shrug) I dunno? I'd never seen anything like that happen before.
-I've heard some people say they can rock Petz to sleep in a basket! Your pet must be good and tired already...can you get them to fall asleep in a basket?

lol, when I first put Lizard in the basket she looked way too small for it. I could barely see her! But eventually she straightened up a bit.

I rocked the basket back and forth for probably a good three minutes, and Lizard... looked at me like this. And blinked occasionally. And sometimes she'd get really frisky and actually cock her head to the other side. I don't know if it takes longer to rock them to sleep in the basket, or if the answer to "can you do it" is "no", but I'm going to say it was the latter. Lizard isn't been very cooperative with a lot of these tasks. That's what I get for choosing a Catz. ^^;
