Another 30 day meme, good lord

commander30Yeah, I'm doing yet another one. Sue me. I should be writing fanfic instead... (yes I actually have one in the works that I'm trying to write)
Just day one for now. I know I often just do these all at once, but I'm going to try doing it the way it's supposed to and see how long I last before I crack and just finish it all at once. (And plus, one of them requires the use of your iPod, and I'm at work right now, soooo... ;))
Day 01 - A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself
I don't know if you would call my wedding "recent"... it was less than six months ago, so I'm saying it is. Nyah. :)
And for the facts...
1. I have absolute pitch.
2. I also have synesthesia. According to a test online I took about a week ago, I associate letters, numbers, days of the week, and months with colors. I think I may have pain-to-color as well, but that site didn't test that (obviously).
3. I have visited all fifty US states.
4. I have been collecting postcards since I was eight years old. The last time I counted them I had well over a thousand, but that's been awhile, so I have even more now.
5. I am a direct descendent of Charlemagne.
6. I have two nieces (they're identical twins) and one stepson, and they're the best kids ever, no room for argument. :)
7. I once knocked over a port-a-potty while driving farm equipment. (And yes, I live in Nebraska, why do you ask?)
8. I don't like anything carbonated, which means I never drink pop/soda, beer, champagne, sparkling water, the like.
9. I have hitchhikers thumbs.
10. I am mostly right-handed, but can only unscrew jars and lids and such with my left hand. My right hand is totally useless for those tasks.
11. I have a big interest in US presidents (historical, not political--I hate politics). Theodore Roosevelt is my favorite, and I own a few dolls/figures/bobblehead dolls of him.
12. I have climbed three mountains in my life--one was ~12,000 feet tall, and the other two were ~14,000 feet tall.
13. I'm not much of a party girl, but take me to a karaoke bar and I'm a happy camper. :)
14. I work two different part-time jobs, both at libraries. One is twenty hours per week. The other I was working thirty-one hours per week, but they had to cut two hours, for some stupid reason, so now between my two jobs I work forty-nine hours per week. (Thank God I get all day Saturdays off.)
15. I knew my alphabet when I was eighteen months old, and could read when I was three years old. My mom attributes this to my two favorite TV shows when I was a baby/toddler--Sesame Street and Wheel of Fortune.
